About the event

This half-day program will help you and your teams level up your skill in the art of museum storytelling for relevance, impact and engagement!

Students in this half-day class will walk away with an array of tools that can be immediately applied to existing programs as well as a foundational approach to create whole new purposeful programs. Subjects covered include:

  • How interpretation is different from guiding, lectures, narratives, or stories

  • Interpretive storytelling techniques that create audience investment

  • Creating inclusive spaces that foster belonging

  • Story arcs and when to strategically interrupt the story to create audience engagement
